QA Engineer

Project overview (USA): This is a system, developed to provide stable remote access for company’s employees to the workstations (PCs or VMs) located in the corporate network without breaking any security. Our system simplifies Access and Device Security for organizations.
If you possess the following experience and skills, you would be an excellent fit for our team:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web, desktop, and mobile applications;
- Strong experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and platforms;
- Practical experience with mobile testing on iOS and/or Android;
- Experience with desktop application testing (Windows, MAC, Linux);
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in functional, usability, compatibility, regression, UI/UX, smoke, and exploratory testing;
- Solid experience with API testing using tools like Postman, including creating, sending, and validating API requests and responses;
- Experience working with test case management and documentation tools such as TestRail or similar;
- Ability to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test cases;
- Experience identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs using defect management systems like Azure DevOps or similar;
- Good understanding of browser DevTools, HTTP, and client-server architecture;
- Good communication skills for reporting test progress, results, and potential risks to team leads and project stakeholders;
- Ability to work in a multi-project environment and manage priorities effectively;
- Practical experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to support testing activities such as test case design, test analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, or documentation;
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team;
- Proficient in spoken and written English at an Upper Intermediate level.
Your responsibilities will include the following tasks within your workflow:
- Perform manual testing of web, desktop, and mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle;
- Analyze product requirements, specifications, and user stories to identify testing needs, gaps, and potential risks;
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, checklists, and test plans;
- Perform functional, regression, integration, compatibility, usability, UI/UX, smoke, and exploratory testing;
- Test applications across different browsers, operating systems, desktop environments, and mobile devices;
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate requests, responses, and integrations;
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using Azure DevOps or similar tools;
- Investigate issues, reproduce defects, and provide developers with clear and detailed information to facilitate troubleshooting;
- Participate in requirement reviews, planning, refinement, and other team discussions from a QA perspective;
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure product quality throughout the development process;
- Monitor testing progress, communicate results, and proactively highlight quality risks and blockers;
- Support release and deployment activities, including regression testing and verification of fixes;
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, test coverage, analysis, troubleshooting, and QA documentation.
