QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a team working on a multi-role web platform for educational institutions.

The platform includes role-based access for admins, teachers, students, and parents, as well as grade books, scheduling, billing, and real-time communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing across multiple user roles and workflows.
• Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright.
• Debug flaky tests and improve test stability.
• Create test scenarios covering positive, negative, and edge cases.
• Perform manual functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
• Identify and reproduce defects.
• Write clear bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, environment, and evidence.
• Work closely with developers during feature development.
• Understand product logic, user roles, permissions, and dependencies.
• Use Claude or similar LLM tools for test scenario generation, documentation analysis, automation, and debugging.

Requirements

• Strong commercial QA experience.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience setting up and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Experience with flaky tests, selectors, synchronization, and asynchronous behavior.
• Strong manual testing skills.
• Experience testing complex web applications.
• Experience with role-based permissions and multi-user workflows.
• Ability to work with incomplete requirements and investigate product behavior independently.
• Experience writing clear and reproducible bug reports.
• Practical experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar LLM tools in QA.
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.

• Experience with multi-role SaaS or B2B platforms.
• REST API testing.
• CI/CD integration.
• EdTech experience.
• Experience testing billing, scheduling, messaging, or other complex workflows.
