QA Engineer
We’re opening the position of a Middle General QA Engineer to work on the project of our Client — a global leader in delivering advanced SaaS solutions for the Energy sector, serving thousands of customers worldwide. Their offerings combine proprietary data, analytics, and software to empower high‑impact business decisions where accuracy, reliability, and trust are paramount. Customers span the entire energy value chain and depend on these solutions to navigate complex markets, optimize operations, and make informed strategic choices.
The project is a flagship web-based energy analytics platform designed for data capture, aggregation, visualization, and analysis. It provides advanced capabilities for data modeling and supports integration with a wide range of data sources. The platform combines rich functionality, interactive graphical interfaces, and scalable data repository solutions to help users efficiently analyze and interpret complex energy data.
Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and automate testing of solutions to the Customer’s problems
- Validate user interfaces and APIs for software for the Energy industry
- Identify, reproduce, and document software defects
- Write clear, maintainable tests for the front end, back end, and everything in between
- Develop, modify, enhance, and implement test plans designed to support new or existing business initiatives
- Work closely with Software Engineers and the product at all stages of the SDLC
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, including testing of data-driven applications, UI, and APIs
- Solid understanding of software development processes and feature delivery practices
- Passion for software quality and continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and practices
- Proven ability to analyze business and technical requirements and define appropriate testing strategies
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure high-quality product delivery
- Self-motivation and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of tasks
- Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies and life cycle processes
- English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
Will be a plus:
- Experience with test automation, execution, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, and UI/UX principles
- Energy industry knowledge
