About the Project:
Our client is an IT solutions provider specializing in IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) and digital transformation. They offer services like consulting, software development, and maintenance for IBM’s ELM suite, which includes tools for requirements management, test management, and systems design. The company also provides advanced solutions for agile development and aims to enhance business efficiency for industries like automotive, medical, and aerospace.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the end-to-end QA process across the project.
- Define and implement QA strategy, testing approaches, and quality standards.
- Lead both manual and automated testing activities.
- Design, build, and improve the test automation framework together with the development team.
- Perform backend/API and frontend testing to ensure product quality.
- Prioritize testing efforts based on business needs, project risks, and delivery timelines.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement QA best practices.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor QA engineers and support their professional growth.
- Contribute to CI/CD quality gates and release processes.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of commercial QA experience.
- Strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
- Solid hands-on experience with Backend/API testing.
- Experience with Frontend/UI testing.
- Strong automation experience (Playwright is preferred).
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience defining QA strategies, testing approaches, and quality processes.
- Experience leading QA activities and mentoring team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
