We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Senior QA Engineer to join the product development team for our client in the USA.
The platform is designed to detect objects and road conditions during a trip and provide real-time notifications to users. Its goal is to enhance road safety by identifying potential hazards and important events while driving.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- 5+ years of QA experience, including senior-level ownership of product quality or mentoring other QA engineers.
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques, including boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, and decision tables; experience creating test plans, test cases, and checklists; solid understanding of the differences between smoke, sanity, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
- Extensive hands-on experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android across multiple OS versions and devices, including tablets and landscape layouts.
- Experience testing geolocation and telemetry features, including GPS, real-time data, mock locations, background behavior, route simulation, and battery consumption.
- Experience testing App Store and Google Play in-app purchases and subscriptions, including per-seat licensing, add-ons, and refund scenarios.
- Practical experience with mobile test automation using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest, as well as API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright.
- Experience working with Jira and test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English, with the ability to communicate daily with an English-speaking Product Owner.
- Experience with API and third-party integration testing.
- Experience testing SDKs (the platform provides its own SDK).
- Experience working with crash reporting and analytics tools such as Crashlytics and Sentry.
Responsibilities
- Own the QA strategy for the mobile applications and fleet product line, including test planning, test coverage, risk assessment, and release readiness.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test cases, checklists, regression test suites, and detailed bug reports.
- Test applications across iOS, Android smartphones, and Android tablets, including landscape layouts.
- Validate real-time telemetry and GPS functionality, video capture and streaming, and synchronization between system components.
- Test subscriptions and in-app purchases, including monthly and annual plans, per-seat licensing, seat add-ons, and billing edge cases.
- Verify role-based access (Fleet Admin vs. Driver) and the functionality of the administration dashboard.
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders, proactively identify and communicate risks, and contribute to the design of new features, including integrations such as Geotab.
We Offer
- Competitive compensation.
- Comfortable working environment.
- Friendly team and supportive management.
- Free English classes.
- Flexible working hours.
- 100% paid vacation (4 weeks per year).
- 100% paid sick leave.
- Corporate events and team-building activities.
- Medical insurance (50% covered by the company).
