QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to help us ensure a reliable, high-quality experience across our web, mobile, and connected product ecosystem.

This role is a good fit for someone who already has hands-on commercial QA experience, understands testing fundamentals, and wants to grow beyond simply executing test cases by investigating issues, understanding how the system works, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering, and contributing to product quality from the early stages of development.

What we expect

QA fundamentals

• Hands-on commercial experience in software testing of web and/or mobile applications
• Solid knowledge of QA fundamentals, SDLC/STLC, and test design techniques
• Experience with functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, integration, and compatibility testing
• Ability to evaluate features not only against formal requirements but also from the end-user and business perspective
• Experience in investigating customer issues and performing root cause analysis

Technical skills

• Understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and JSON
• Experience with API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools
• Basic understanding of CI/CD
• Ability to investigate issues using DevTools, network requests, and logs (Rollbar, Sentry, or similar)
• Familiarity with Android Studio, Proxyman, Charles, and mobile debugging tools
• Basic SQL knowledge and experience with database validation

Soft skills

• Analytical and critical thinking
• Strong passion for learning new things
• English with at least Upper-Intermediate (B2) level

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with embedded system testing;
• Basic knowledge of accessibility and cross-browser testing
• Experience with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
• Experience using AI tools and agents (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar)
• Experience with Playwright (TypeScript)

Your responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications throughout the development lifecycle;
• Analyze requirements and participate in early/static testing;
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and checklists;
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and API testing;
• Investigate defects using logs, DevTools, network requests, and other available tools;
• Report and track defects throughout their lifecycle;
• Participate in refinements, planning, and other team activities;
• Collaborate closely with QAs, developers, designers, and Product/Project Managers;
• Contribute to improving QA processes and overall product quality.
