QA Engineer

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality of a high-load technology podcast network that serves millions of listeners every day. The product is a complex platform that powers a full-scale podcast ecosystem, including an ad server handling millions of requests per hour, lambda functions, and AI automation flows that monitor system operations, manage configurations, generate AI content, and support monetization workflows. You’ll be part of a team that ensures seamless operation, high performance, and exceptional quality for users worldwide.

Requirements (must have):

• Experience with manual testing (types of tests, methodologies of organizing testing processes, test design techniques), understanding of STLC.
• Extensive experience in manual testing of web applications, including testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Basic understanding of HTTP/REST and using tools like Postman for API testing.
• Understanding of web widget functionality.
• Familiarity with RSS feed structure and functionality.
• Experience using browser developer tools for testing and debugging.
• Basic knowledge of database systems, including SQL-based databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift) and Redis, skilled in writing SQL queries.
• Skilled in writing clear test cases.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an ownership mindset.
• Fast learner with a proactive attitude.
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Interest or passion for audio content and related platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own the QA process across the product lifecycle.
• Perform manual testing of new features and functionalities.
• Test and validate the quality of generated audio content.
• Identify and report bugs and data inconsistencies in the data and management platforms.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases and continuous process improvement.
