QA Engineer
We are looking for a Lead Manual QA Engineer. You’ll own the quality strategy across the full product, leading a QA team while staying hands-on where it matters, API and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring release readiness across UI, API, and integration layers.
Requirements
Must Have:
- 5+ years in QA (including automation); 2+ years in a leadership role
- Experience managing or mentoring QA engineers
- REST API and integration testing
- Microservices architecture and distributed systems
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI); Docker and cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- SDLC / STLC; risk-based and shift-left test strategies
- Performance testing (k6, JMeter)
- Test automation with Playwright / Selenium / Cypress; Java / Python / TypeScript
- Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- English B2+
Nice to Have:
- Non-functional testing concepts
- Building automation frameworks from scratch
- Quality metrics and KPI tracking
Responsibilities
- Define and drive QA strategy and test architecture
- Lead, mentor and manage the QA team
- Ensure test coverage across UI / API / integration layers
- Manage release quality and go/no-go decisions
- Collaborate with Dev, Product, and DevOps teams
- Establish quality metrics and KPIs
- Participate in architecture discussions
- Contribute to manual testing during releases / hotfixes (~10%)
