Product that needs your engagement 

You will be at the heart of building a new generation web-based application fully powered by AI technologies. This product is envisioned as a cutting-edge tool that redefines how professionals interact with complex data and workflows. We’re not just adding AI features into an existing app — we are designing an AI-first experience from the ground up, where automation, personalization, and intelligence are embedded in every interaction. The application will combine scalability, intuitive UX, and deep AI integration to create a solution that is both technically robust and delightful to use.

Your future challenges & opportunities

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will help establish the quality foundation for a new AI-powered product.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Business Analysis, and other QA professionals to define quality standards, testability requirements, automation priorities, and release criteria. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with a high level of ownership.

You will not only test features after implementation. You will contribute to product quality throughout the development lifecycle — from requirements and solution design to release validation and continuous improvement.

What you will do

• Build and evolve the QA strategy, quality standards, testability requirements, and release criteria for a new AI-first product.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams during requirements refinement, solution design, risk analysis, and estimation.
• Define and execute a risk-based testing strategy focused on critical user journeys, integrations, data integrity, and reliability.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, acceptance, exploratory, and non-functional testing of web, backend, API, and data-driven workflows.
• Validate product behavior through the UI, APIs, logs, database queries, observability data, and pipeline artifacts.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated tests for critical user flows, APIs, integrations, and regression scenarios; integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Report, investigate, and verify defects; collaborate with engineers to identify root causes and improve product testability.
• Test AI-powered features with non-deterministic outputs using evaluation criteria, quality rubrics, thresholds, tolerances, and representative test datasets.
• Support AI regression testing and validate AI behavior for relevance, correctness, groundedness, reliability, safety, and expected workflow outcomes.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing web applications, backend services, APIs, and client-server systems.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices.
• Experience designing, writing, maintaining, or significantly contributing to automated test coverage.
• Experience with API testing and API debugging tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Fiddler, Charles, or similar tools.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, pytest, NUnit, xUnit, SpecFlow, or similar tools.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and build systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Experience working with Docker or other containerized environments.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, acceptance, exploratory, and non-functional testing.
• Ability to investigate issues using logs, API responses, database queries, network information, and other technical artifacts.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to make well-reasoned quality decisions.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks in a changing environment, and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders.

Would be a plus

• Experience testing AI-powered, LLM-based, RAG, agentic, or data-intensive applications.
• Experience defining AI evaluation criteria, creating evaluation datasets, or testing non-deterministic system behavior.
• Experience with prompt testing, prompt regression testing, model comparison, or LLM output evaluation
