Software Architect
🟠 Details: we’re looking for a Senior .NET Architect / Technical Lead to take ownership of the technical assessment, stabilization, and long-term evolution of a large-scale financial platform running in production on Microsoft Azure.
You’ll work with a business-critical platform consisting of 30+ event-driven microservices, complex accounting and payment workflows, multiple databases, Kubernetes infrastructure, external integrations, and over 100 CI/CD pipelines.
This is a hands-on architecture role focused on understanding an existing production system, identifying technical risks, improving delivery reliability, and defining a long-term architecture evolution plan.
🟠 Qualifications:
- 8+ years of commercial software development experience, including 5+ years with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
- Previous experience as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Staff Engineer, or similar technical leadership role.
- Strong experience designing distributed, event-driven microservice architectures.
- Production experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, SQL Server, and messaging systems such as Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with REST, gRPC, webhooks, service-to-service integrations, modern CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including complex cross-service and data-consistency issues.
- English language proficiency at B2 level (upper-intermediate) and above.
🟠 Would be a plus:
- Experience with .NET 8, Angular, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, Azure Monitor, or Application Insights.
- Familiarity with CQRS, DDD, Clean Architecture, and Saga patterns.
- Experience in regulated financial systems (PCI DSS), accounting, fintech, payment processing, or construction management.
- Experience taking over production platforms with limited knowledge transfer, improving release processes, and simplifying fragmented microservice architectures.
🟠 Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical assessment, stabilization, and long-term evolution of the existing production platform.
- Analyze the architecture, service dependencies, data flows, integrations, and infrastructure to identify technical risks and improvement opportunities.
- Drive architectural improvements, reduce technical debt, and define a pragmatic modernization roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- Improve CI/CD, deployment, database migration, and rollback processes.
- Establish engineering standards, technical governance, and best practices for development, code review, testing, and releases.
- Investigate complex production issues, support root-cause analysis, and drive long-term solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate closely with the Delivery Manager, DevOps/SRE, QA, and client tech lead.
🟠 Interview steps:
- Screening with the recruiter (about 45 minutes).
- Interview with the Project Manager (about 1 hour).
