Software Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Application Architect to join our team and drive solution design during the pre-sales and early delivery stages. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, define technical strategies, and design scalable, cost-effective solution architectures. You’ll collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to shape project scope, support solution estimation, and ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation. This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic consulting and building long-term customer relationships.

You’ll help us to:

• Lead discovery and assessment activities to understand clients’ business goals, technical landscape, and key challenges.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solution architectures aligned with both client objectives and business needs.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical vision, architecture roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to define solution scope, estimate effort, identify risks, and prepare project proposals.
• Drive technical pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, architecture workshops, RFP/RFI responses, and technical documentation.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the early delivery phase, ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation.
• Guide technology selection, cloud architecture, integrations, and infrastructure decisions while balancing scalability, maintainability, and delivery constraints.
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients and internal stakeholders, helping shape long-term technology strategy and solution direction.
• Mentor engineering teams on architectural best practices and promote high standards of software design and technical excellence.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, cloud services, and AI-powered tools to improve solution quality and delivery efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture within software development and IT services.
• Proven ability to design and communicate end-to-end technical architectures for complex solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, primarily AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with software architecture frameworks and methodologies, including SEI Views and Beyond (strong advantage) or TOGAF.
• Solid experience leading technical delivery teams, providing architectural guidance, and ensuring solution integrity throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices and modern infrastructure, including experience with Kubernetes (AWS ECS/EKS / Azure AKS), PaaS, and serverless offerings.
• Practical experience with back-end technologies (e.g., C#, Python, Node.js, Java). C# would be a big plus.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS solution building including API sandbox, integration with 3-rd parties solutions
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and similar.
• Proficient in RFP/RFI processes, proposal development, and preparation of technical documentation and estimates.
• Experience applying PERT estimation techniques and managing project planning uncertainty.
• Skilled in stakeholder expectation management, including dealing with ambiguity, building sound assumptions, defining risks, and establishing mitigation strategies.
  Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills, able to handle multiple projects in parallel while ensuring timely delivery of all pre-sales and discovery artifacts.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to produce high-quality documentation and deliver impactful client presentations.
• Quick learner with the ability to adopt new technologies, tools, and methodologies efficiently.
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and support solution design, without compromising the quality or accuracy of deliverables.
