About the client:
An AI platform transforming supply chain operations for multi-billion-dollar enterprise construction projects. The company is scaling fast to support rapid enterprise expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship features end-to-end- data model, backend API, and web client.
- Develop the pipeline that ingests construction project documents and turns them into structured, connected data
- Build and improve AI features that read those documents — extraction, comparison, and review support
- Keep results verifiable: every answer traceable back to the document it came from
- Design APIs and data models for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
- Keep the platform reliable — tests, code review, CI, containerised environments
- Work with the product team and construction professionals to turn their workflows into software
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong Python skills with a modern async web framework
- Solid React and TypeScript skills, able to deliver a feature on both sides of the API
- Practical experience building LLM-based product features
- Experience with documents and unstructured data in a real product
- Data pipelines or workflow orchestration in production
- Event-driven or asynchronous service architectures, and background job processing
- Hands-on AWS(EKS, RDS, S3) and the services around them
- Docker and CI in day-to-day work
- Daily use of agentic coding tools
- Comfortable deciding without waiting to be unblocked
- At least Intermediate English proficiency (both spoken and written)
Nice to Have:
- Domain background in construction, engineering, or another document-heavy regulated industry
