Software Engineer

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience with C# and .NET in backend development.
• Strong knowledge of modern C# features, including async/await, dependency injection, and clean architecture principles.
• Experience designing and developing microservice-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, gRPC, and REST APIs.
• Solid experience with Entity Framework Core, including code-first migrations, multiple DbContexts, and query optimization.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including indexing, transactions, and query performance tuning.
• Experience with Redis, caching strategies, distributed locking, and background processing (Quartz.NET or similar).
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts such as Outbox, Saga, idempotency, eventual consistency, and distributed locking.
• Experience working with Docker and containerized development environments (Docker Compose; .NET Aspire is a plus).
• Experience building resilient services using tools such as Polly, FluentValidation, AutoMapper, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Serilog, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Sentry.
• Experience writing automated tests using NUnit or xUnit, mocking frameworks (Moq), and Testcontainers.
• Experience working with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to contribute ideas, participate in technical discussions, and take ownership of product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C#/.NET.
• Build and improve microservice architecture with gRPC, Kafka, and asynchronous messaging.
• Develop and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for internal and external services.
• Design and optimize data access using Entity Framework Core and PostgreSQL.
• Implement distributed system patterns such as Outbox, Saga, idempotency, and distributed locking.
• Integrate Redis, background services, and scheduled jobs to improve performance and reliability.
• Ensure service stability through logging, monitoring, tracing, and metrics collection.
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with the team on architecture, product improvements, and technical decisions, proactively suggesting new ideas and taking ownership of solutions.
