About the Role

We are looking for 5 Senior Full-Stack Developers with a strong backend focus to join a long-term project and collaborate directly with a UK-based engineering team.

The ideal candidate is a mature and independent engineer with deep commercial experience in Node.js, strong hands-on expertise with Nest.js, PostgreSQL and AWS, and solid commercial experience with React.

This role is particularly suitable for engineers who are comfortable taking ownership, understanding existing architecture, solving complex technical problems, and contributing to technical decisions rather than simply implementing isolated tasks.

Requirements

Must-have:

• 7+ years of commercial software development experience with Node.js, with a strong backend focus
• Strong hands-on experience with Nest.js
• Solid commercial experience with React
• Strong experience designing and building REST APIs and backend services
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Practical experience with AWS, including:
  • AWS Lambda
  • ECS
  • API Gateway
  • related AWS infrastructure and services
• Good understanding of software testing practices
• Experience with Git workflows
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher for daily communication with the client's UK-based team

Nice to Have

• Experience designing scalable or distributed backend systems
• Microservices architecture experience
• Docker / containerized environments
• Experience with event-driven or serverless architectures
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience
• Experience participating in architecture and technical design discussions
• Experience mentoring developers or conducting code reviews

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Nest.js
• Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs
• Develop and maintain frontend functionality using React
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, including data modeling and query optimization
• Build and maintain integrations with AWS services
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable production code
• Participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot and solve complex production and development issues
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern Git-based development workflows
• Collaborate directly with engineers and stakeholders from the client's UK team
• Take ownership of features from technical analysis through production delivery
