About us

Syndicode is a value-driven software development partner with a globally distributed team of engineers, designers, architects, and IT managers. We are united by the mission to provide our clients with software products and services that perform, look, and work as designed.

We believe that our people and culture make Syndicode’s success continuous. Shared principles like Accountability, Involvement, Excellence, Visibility, Integrity, Innovation, Win-Win, and Flexibility unify our team. Syndicoders are professionals who pursue self-improvement through continual learning, are eager to improve work processes, and can analyze various sources to make sound, timely decisions.

If it sounds like you, apply for our vacancies and become a new Syndicoder!

What you’ll do

Features & improvements

  • Build features from design hand-off through QA and release.
  • Integrate REST APIs and third-party services, such as social login, payments, affiliate or e-commerce flows, and content from external platforms.
  • Make deep links reliable on both platforms, including links opened while the app is fully closed.

Analytics & privacy

  • Implement analytics events against each project’s tracking plan, in tools such as PostHog or Firebase Analytics.
  • Keep user identity consistent across analytics and messaging tools: identify on login and registration, reset on logout.
  • Follow each project’s consent model and data protection requirements, such as GDPR opt-in before any tracking starts.
  • Verify events on iOS and Android before release.

Platform & stability

  • Keep apps compatible with iOS and Android changes: OS lifecycle updates, plugin upgrades and Flutter version bumps.
  • Investigate crashes reported in Firebase Crashlytics or a similar tool, and fix them as they’re prioritised.
  • Follow each project’s auth and security approach, such as secure token storage, token refresh and keeping sensitive data out of plain storage.
  • Work within App Store and Google Play review rules, and adjust flows when a submission is rejected.

Releases

  • Prepare releases with the team: version bumps, TestFlight and Android QA builds, store submission and post-release monitoring.

Working across projects and teams

  • Switch between projects without losing track: follow each codebase’s conventions and keep each PM informed about progress and blockers.
  • Write clear notes for QA on what changed and how to test it, especially when the behaviour isn’t visible on screen.
  • Estimate your own tasks, and point out when something looks bigger than the ticket suggests.

What we’re looking for

Must have

  • 4+ years of commercial experience with Flutter, including at least one app released to and maintained on the App Store or Google Play.
  • Hands-on experience with a state management approach (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc or similar) and a structured architecture such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
  • Experience working in an existing codebase, not only building from scratch.
  • REST API integration, including token-based authentication and refresh.
  • Implementing analytics events in a mobile app with PostHog, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude or similar.
  • Deep linking on iOS and Android (universal links and app links).
  • Firebase in a production app, including Crashlytics and Analytics.
  • Familiarity with the App Store and Google Play submission and review process.
  • Writing unit and widget tests.
  • Git, and working in agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) with Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
  • Upper-intermediate English (B2+), written and spoken. Most requirements arrive in writing.

Nice to have

  • Experience working on more than one project in parallel.
  • Social login and OAuth integrations, such as Sign in with Apple, Google, Instagram or TikTok.
  • Secure token storage and refresh handling (flutter_secure_storage or similar).
  • Mobile privacy compliance: consent flows, iOS privacy manifests, Android data safety forms.
  • Push notifications with FCM, OneSignal or a similar service.
  • Marketing SDKs such as Meta or TikTok app events.
  • Mobile CI/CD (Codemagic, Fastlane, GitHub Actions or similar).
  • GraphQL.
  • Basic native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) knowledge.
  • Experience with e-commerce, marketplace or social apps.

What you’ll get at Syndicode

  • Fully remote job
  • Part-time position with a flexible schedule
  • Internal tech meetups
  • Continuous feedback within teams and departments
  • Top-notch team
  • Ability to participate in decision-making and bring new ideas
  • Self-management: opportunity to manage your time and plan your activities
  • Dynamic, fast-growing environment: we react and adapt quickly to the world’s and market changes.
