About Sine Engineering

Sine Engineering builds the technology behind reliable drone autonomy: communications, navigation, and control systems that enable coordinated multi-drone operations at scale. More than 200 UAV manufacturers rely on our technologies, and our solutions power many of the interceptor operations active today.

Through our dual-use platform, we support civilian innovation while helping democratic nations strengthen their technological advantage.

Any drone. Any scale. Anywhere.

We build resilient communication, navigation, and coordination systems for the age of autonomy.

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our experienced team and help build innovative solutions that are new to both Ukraine and the world. This is a rare opportunity to become part of an exceptionally skilled, cross-functional team capable of developing advanced system-level solutions from the ground up.

You’ll be working in a creative, fast-paced environment alongside talented professionals who share a unique blend of expertise and passion for innovation. We value great ideas, rapid iteration, and open collaboration, and we’re driven by the impact our solutions can make.

If you’re excited about solving complex challenges and contributing to groundbreaking projects, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop products using C++, Rust, Kotlin, Python, and JavaScript. Experience with all of these languages is not required, but we encourage continuous learning and growth.
  • Design and implement innovative algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly scalable, and highly reliable systems.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers, contributing to a culture of excellence and mutual inspiration.
  • Continuously expand your expertise, whether you’re already experienced or just beginning your journey in system-level software development.

Requirements

  • Experience with non-web programming languages such as C++, Rust, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of the Linux environment, including kernel-level or shell-level operations.
  • Experience using GitHub for source code management and team collaboration.
  • Strong engineering mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher, both written and spoken.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working hours, 24 days of paid annual leave, and unlimited sick leave.
  • Comprehensive health insurance and support for sports and wellness activities.
  • Professional development opportunities through internal and external training, English courses, and company-funded AI tools and software licenses.
  • Military service deferral (reservation) for eligible employees, plus support for veterans and their families.
  • A comfortable and safe workplace featuring ergonomic workstations, an on-site bomb shelter, modern equipment, and daily snacks.
  • A human-centric culture built on trust, ownership, and mutual respect, where people genuinely care about each other and the impact of their work.

Why Join Us?

If you’re excited about building technology that shapes the future of drone autonomy and want your work to have a meaningful impact on defense and security, we’d love to hear from you.

If this role aligns with your experience and ambitions, don’t hesitate to apply. We’re looking for people who share our drive to push the boundaries of what’s possible and deliver technologies that make a real-world difference.
