We’re looking for a Field test engineer to work with advanced drone technologies in Ukraine. Field demonstrations, system integration, and real-world impact on UAV and defense environments.
Our client is a team of ambitious entrepreneurs building innovative solutions for various industries around the world. Among other products the company has recently launched a Visual Positioning System for UAVs designed to operate in GNSS-denied environments. The system is currently being integrated into several drone platforms in Europe (incl. Ukraine). To support local customers and ensure high-quality implementation, the company is expanding its presence in Ukraine and looking for a Field test engineer.
What you’ll do in your role:
- Work in a team with another Field test engineer
- Provide hands-on support for system integration into UAV platforms
- Test new features in real Ukrainian conditions
- Provide feedback to the R&D team
- Contribute to product roadmap and strategic planning
- Be open to traveling around Ukraine for test flights in various locations (Not front line)
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with Ardupilot setup
- Practical drone skills (multicopters and fixed-wing UAVs)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and experience working in a team
- Intermediate English proficiency
How to knock our socks off:
- Experience with UAV integration or avionics systems
- Experience working in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
- Experience working in field engineering or technical services
- Ability to work in dynamic real-world environments
- Strong accountability-related thinking and proactive approach
