About the Company
We are hiring for an established international FinTech company headquartered in Cyprus, with 160+ employees and 8 engineering teams.
The company operates in the investment and financial services space and is a licensed stock broker working with stocks and bonds.
One of its product teams is developing a proprietary B2C crypto-processing platform. The product was built from scratch in 2021, is already successfully running in production, and is now entering its next stage of growth and scaling.
We are looking for a strong Middle+/Senior Go Developer to join the backend team and contribute to the further development of the platform.
The Team
You will join a mature product team of 7 people:
- Tech Lead (Go)
- 2 Senior Go Developers
- 2 QA Engineers
- Frontend Developer (React)
- Team Manager
The engineering team has a strong technical culture, with members coming from established BigTech and large product companies.
The team is currently expanding and plans to hire another Go Developer as well as its first dedicated Analyst.
What You'll Do
- Develop and scale backend services using Go.
- Design and evolve microservice-based architecture.
- Build new functionality and improve existing production services.
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL and message brokers.
- Participate in architecture and system design discussions.
- Write clean, maintainable and production-ready code.
- Take part in code reviews and technical decision-making.
- Work closely with QA, Frontend, DevOps and other engineering teams.
- Contribute to improving engineering practices and overall product stability.

Go • PostgreSQL • RabbitMQ • Kubernetes • Microservices • Cloud
Experience with Kafka or other message brokers will also be relevant.
What We're Looking For
- 4–5+ years of commercial backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Go.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Practical experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar message brokers.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture and system design.
- Ability to write clean, well-structured and maintainable code.
- Experience working with mature engineering practices, including code review and collaborative technical decision-making.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes at user level.
- English B1+.
We are particularly interested in engineers with experience in large-scale product or BigTech environments, where engineering quality, structured development processes and maintainability are important.

Interview Process
The process consists of 2 technical stages — no traditional live coding.
1. Technical Interview — ~1.5 hours
Discussion with the Tech Lead covering Go, databases, architecture and System Design.
2. Technical Final — ~1.5 hours
Collaborative code review and discussion of architectural decisions. The focus is on your engineering approach, reasoning and code quality rather than writing code under time pressure.
