We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Apps Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role requires hands-on expertise in responsive Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate, with strong focus on ALM practices, Microsoft best practices, security, performance, and integrations with internal and external systems.

Primary Purpose and Function of This Position:
This position is for a Senior Power Apps Developer within the Digital Software Development Group. The role is focused on establishing and growing internal capabilities for the design, development, and deployment of modern Power Platform solutions. You will be responsible for delivering scalable business applications and workflows, adhering to ALM and governance standards, and enabling integrations across Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and on-premises systems via the on-premises data gateway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive Canvas Apps (mobile/tablet/desktop) following Microsoft best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Build and customize Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse (tables, forms, views, business rules, command bar customizations).
- Design Dataverse data models including relationships, validation, security roles, and business rules; optimize for performance and delegation.
- Develop complex Power Automate cloud flows including multi-stage approvals, parallel approvals, escalation paths, and robust exception handling.
- Integrate solutions with SharePoint (lists/libraries) as data source and document storage; implement secure file upload/download patterns.
- Integrate with SQL Server using appropriate connectors and the on-premises data gateway.
- Implement API integrations using REST/HTTP, Microsoft Graph, and custom connectors; manage authentication/authorization using Azure AD/service principals.
- Implement ALM using solutions (managed/unmanaged), environment strategy (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod).
- Conduct testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support; ensure reliable deployments and operational stability.
- Create technical documentation, standards, and reusable components; contribute to governance and best practices.
Technical Requirements:
- 8+ years of overall application development experience with significant hands-on Microsoft Power Platform delivery.
- Proven expertise in building responsive Canvas Apps using Power Fx, components, and modern controls.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate, including complex approval workflows and integration patterns.
- Strong experience with Dataverse and Model-Driven Apps, including security model, data modeling, and solution architecture.
- Experience working with SharePoint as a data source (lists/libraries) and implementing enterprise document management patterns.
- Experience integrating with SQL Server (cloud and on-premises) and configuring/operating the on-premises data gateway.
- Experience integrating external systems via APIs (REST, HTTP, Microsoft Graph) and building custom connectors.
- Solid understanding of Power Platform ALM, environments, managed solutions, and automated deployments (CI/CD).
- Ability to translate UI/UX designs from Figma into functional and responsive Power Apps, ensuring alignment with design specifications and usability standards.
Education and Professional Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or in a related field or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge.
- Microsoft related certification will be an added advantage.
