Join a team developing electronic trading and market connectivity platforms where C++, Linux, and low-latency trading systems are central to the engineering work. In this role, you will contribute to high-performance applications used across capital markets, helping to build reliable and scalable solutions that support trading workflows, market data processing, and connectivity to trading venues.
Required for this role
- 3-6 years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong commercial development experience with C++.
- Strong development and troubleshooting skills in Linux environments.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience developing distributed applications and APIs.
- Knowledge of software development practices for performance-sensitive systems.
- Experience working with applications where reliability, scalability, and performance are important.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Upper Intermediate English level.
Nice to have
- Experience with low-latency trading systems, electronic market making, or exchange connectivity solutions.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, market data feeds, and trading platforms supporting equities, FX, or derivatives markets.
- Experience with multithreaded C++, real-time event processing, and Linux kernel or network tuning.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Solace, kdb+/q, or exposure to FPGA technologies.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain C++ components supporting trading and market data systems.
- Implement new features and enhancements for electronic trading applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in root cause analysis.
- Assist with performance testing and optimization activities.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering quality initiatives.
- Support application deployment and operational readiness activities.
- Work closely with senior engineers to improve application scalability, performance, and reliability.
