Software Engineer
Our client develops employee health and workplace safety solutions that help organizations prevent musculoskeletal injuries, reduce workplace risk, and improve workforce well-being. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cloud-based software that supports evidence-based health programs and ergonomic services. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can independently own full-stack development tasks, deliver high-quality solutions, and work confidently across backend, frontend, cloud, and AI-assisted development tools.
Required for this role
- Strong experience with Java full-stack development, including backend and frontend responsibilities
- Strong SQL skills and experience designing and working with backend data solutions
- Commercial experience with JavaScript for frontend development
- Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework
- Experience working with AWS services, cloud environments, and DevOps-related activities
- Strong interest in and early hands-on adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude
- Experience using AWS and J2EE development and management tools throughout the software delivery lifecycle
- Knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) principles and practices
- Upper-Intermediate to Expert level English communication skills
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of full-stack development tasks, and deliver on time
Your responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, and documentation
- Design and develop custom Java solutions in the AWS cloud while following established architecture principles and coding standards
- Build and maintain frontend and backend functionality across the application stack
- Collaborate with product managers and quality assurance engineers to deliver effective software solutions
- Develop and maintain test automation that supports CI/CD pipelines
- Write efficient, secure, scalable, highly available, and maintainable cloud-based software
- Conduct technical design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to support software quality and long-term maintainability
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and engineering practices relevant to the project
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other software engineers when needed
