Software Engineer
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform Engineer to join a distributed engineering team. The client is an established Australian independent software vendor building a production platform for the financial planning sector. This platform helps businesses manage client relationships, onboarding, compliance workflows, and integrations with external financial systems. The product is built primarily on the Microsoft ecosystem. Your main focus will be taking strong technical ownership to customize the core product, drive complex integrations, and potentially explore AI and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and extend Dynamics 365 CE / Dynamics 365 Sales.
- Develop C#/.NET plugins, custom APIs, workflows, and integrations.
- Create Power Apps and Power Automate cloud flows.
- Design and support Dataverse-based business processes.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with external financial and business platforms.
Provide senior technical direction, troubleshoot existing functionality, and deliver robust production improvements.
Requirements:
- Senior-level, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE or Dynamics 365 Sales.
- Strong Power Platform expertise, particularly with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
- Practical C#/.NET experience developing plugins, APIs, workflows, or integrations.
- Proven experience delivering specific Dynamics 365 CE/Sales projects, not only general Microsoft, Azure, or .NET development.
Ability to work independently, take technical ownership of tasks, and contribute effectively to a production platform.
Nice to Have:
- Azure integration services: Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, or similar.
- Advanced Dynamics components: PCF controls, Custom Pages, React/TypeScript web resources, or FetchXML.
- Experience with Sales-module processes (Lead-to-order, pricing), data migration, or Power BI operational reporting.
- AI & Automation: Experience applying AI in business systems, Microsoft Copilot, document extraction, or intelligent workflow routing.
Background in financial services, wealth management, or another regulated industry.
