Software Engineer

Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with RSpec and automated testing.
- Good understanding of OOP, SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles.
- Experience working with AI tools and LLM-based solutions.
- Experience with Git and Agile development practices.
- Strong English (B2+ / C1) — you’ll communicate directly with a US-based client.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and proactively solve technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a web application using Ruby on Rails.
- Build and maintain a Shopify plugin.
- Develop AI-powered features, including AI Chat & Executor.
- Work with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI integrations.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend functionality.
- Implement and improve SDLC 2.0 development practices.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborate directly with the US-based client and the internal team.
- Identify technical improvements and contribute to the product’s architecture and development.
