Go Developer (Middle)

Salary range: $500 – $1500

A small and productive team is looking for a Middle Go Developer to assist an experienced Senior Engineer. Our project is growing, and the task scope is expanding, so we are seeking a reliable specialist ready to dive into backend microservice development, write clean code, and grow alongside the team.

What you will do:

• Development and support of Go microservices
• Design and optimization of REST API / gRPC
• Participation in architectural discussions alongside the Senior Engineer
• Writing unit and integration tests

• Database optimization and Code Review

   

Our expectations (Must have):

• 1–2+ years of commercial Go development experience
• Solid knowledge of Concurrency (goroutines, channels, context)
• Experience working with PostgreSQL / MySQL (writing and optimizing SQL queries)
• Understanding of REST API and gRPC / Protocol Buffers
• Experience using Docker and Git
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL (Redis / Memcached)
• Ability to use AI tools for code generation and AI agents for automating routine tasks to increase productivity
• Understanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS principles and clean architecture

Nice to have:

• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka)
• Understanding of Kubernetes / CI/CD basics
• Basic Linux skills
