About the Role
We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to join our team and deliver intelligent workflow automations and integrations for our clients. You will understand how a client’s systems work — CRM, ERP, internal tools — well enough to design integration architectures, and then build and ship working solutions, primarily in n8n.
You will work at the practical intersection of software engineering and workflow automation, writing supporting code where needed, and validating everything before it goes live. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role.

- Pragmatic — you look for the ready-made API, plugin, or node first, and only build custom when it’s genuinely needed
- Quality owner — you use AI assistance to accelerate, but you personally review, validate, and stand behind everything that ships
- Reliable by default — you think about failures, edge cases, and what happens when an integration runs unattended
- Clear communicator — you can explain to non-technical clients what was built and why, without being the “presentation” person
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business workflow needs into a clear integration architecture
- Identify whether a ready-made API or plugin already exists for the systems involved, and choose the most efficient path rather than building from scratch where unnecessary
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into products on both the client and server side — e.g. chat interfaces, AI-assisted UX, RAG-based features
- Design, build, and ship working integrations primarily in n8n
- Write supporting code as needed — custom nodes, webhooks, transformations, or small scripts to fill gaps
- Work alongside an AI assistant for code generation, while personally reviewing and validating its output before publishing — you own the quality of what ships
- Ensure integrations are reliable, well-tested, and handle errors, retries, and edge cases gracefully
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in development/integrations
- Direct, practical experience building workflows in n8n is required
- Practical backend background. Understanding of how a backend works (PHP/Python/Node — any of these)
- Practical, hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into a real product: LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar), streaming responses, and at least basic exposure to RAG pipelines or function calling.
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code or similar tools) as part of daily development, in a spec-first, human-reviewed way.
- Solid understanding of security fundamentals on both ends of the stack: OWASP Top 10 (server-side and client-side), JWT/OAuth 2.0, secure handling of user data
- Strong communication skills — comfortable explaining technical decisions to non-engineers.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English level
Nice to Have
- Experience with Make/Zapier, or completion of formal automation courses
- Python at the level of writing small scripts
- Experience with RPA tools for systems that have no API
