- Ensure UI responsiveness, performance, and stability when processing frequently changing data.
- Integrate desktop applications with backend services and streaming data sources.
- Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and backend developers to translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Improve and extend existing trading tools as the platform expands into new markets and exchanges.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing desktop application functionality.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with C# / .NET and WPF.
- Professional experience in desktop application development; backend-only or web frontend experience is not sufficient.
- Experience building real-time, dynamic data visualization applications.
- Ability to independently design and implement UI features without a dedicated UI/UX designer.
- Good understanding of UI performance optimization, responsiveness, and efficient data presentation.
- Experience integrating desktop applications with APIs, backend services, or continuously updating data sources.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a small engineering team.
- Good English communication skills.
- Availability to work with 3–4 hours of overlap with the New York time zone.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with WebSockets, gRPC, TCP/UDP, or other streaming data protocols.
- Experience developing trading platforms, financial applications, or market data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Python, particularly for data analysis or visualization.
- Familiarity with financial markets, exchanges, or trading workflows.
- Experience with statistical modeling, signal processing, or quantitative systems.
Company offers:
- Long-term employment with possibilities for professional growth
- Fully remote work
- Reasonably flexible schedule
- 15 days of paid vacation
- Regular performance reviews
