PLVision is looking for a C Software Engineer to join our firmware tooling and infrastructure team, working for a technology leader we have partnered with for many years. In this role, you’ll build and improve the tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure that power firmware development for cutting-edge network hardware.
RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 Develop tools for firmware
🔹 Analyze and improve the existing CI/CD infrastructure
🔹 Propose and implement extensions to the project infrastructure
🔹 Maintain deployment and testing processes
🔹 Ensure all production systems are robust and stable
REQUIREMENTS
🔹 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering
🔹 Up to 2 years of engineering experience
🔹 Solid knowledge of C and Python
🔹 Basic networking knowledge is required (understanding of the OSI model and basic L2/L3 networking)
🔹 Familiarity with CMake
🔹 Experience in writing scripts and tools to support the development process
WOULD BE A PLUS
🔹 Experience in creating and presenting design documents
🔹 Experience with hardware emulation systems
🔹 Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies
🔹 Experience with scripting languages such as Bash
