Software Engineer

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Developers to join client’s team and contribute to the development of a scalable, enterprise-level commerce platform. The role focuses on designing and building reliable integrations between Commercetools and core enterprise systems such as SAP, Snowflake, and Salesforce.
You will work within a corporate technology environment, collaborating with architects, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver secure and maintainable commerce and integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop composable commerce solutions integrated with enterprise ERP, CRM, and data platforms, including SAP, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
• Build and maintain backend applications and integration services using .NET and C#, following cloud-native and distributed application architecture principles.
• Develop distributed application services and service-to-service communication patterns for reliable integration between enterprise systems.
• Work closely with solution architects and business analysts to translate business requirements and enterprise data models into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain APIs, middleware, and integration components supporting order processing, pricing, customer information, and data synchronization between Commercetools and connected enterprise platforms.
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Microsoft Azure, with a focus on scalability, security, reliability, and compliance.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews while following established engineering standards and governance processes.
• Maintain technical documentation covering system integrations, data flows, APIs, and key architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional experience developing enterprise software applications and integration solutions.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of .NET and C#, including experience with cloud-native and distributed systems.
• Practical experience integrating SAP ERP, including ECC or S/4HANA, with commerce, middleware, or other enterprise applications.
• Experience or good working knowledge of Salesforce APIs and CRM integration approaches.
• Understanding of distributed application runtime concepts, event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, and service-to-service communication.
• Experience managing infrastructure and cloud environments with Terraform and Microsoft Azure.
• Good understanding of headless and composable commerce architecture, preferably with practical experience using Commercetools.
• Ability to operate effectively within structured corporate environments involving multiple stakeholders, established delivery processes, and technical governance.
