We are looking for an AI-enabled architect to support and improve our existing application stack while continuing the development and improvement of our new AI platform.

Backend

• Strong experience with Java and Spring, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud;
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and API design;
• Experience designing and operating multi-tenant systems.

Frontend

• Professional experience with React and/or Angular.

AI

• Strong knowledge of the AI stack and experience building AI platforms, including LLMs, RAG, and AI agents;
• Experience with LangGraph, Temporal, and Neo4j;
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems and understanding their limitations.

Security & PHI

• Experience building and maintaining systems that handle PHI, including knowledge of HIPAA compliance;
• Understanding of application security, including authentication and authorization, OWASP principles, secrets management, and related practices.

• 3+ years of experience in an architect role;
• Experience in the US healthcare domain;
• Experience with vector databases and LLM observability tools;
• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day software development.

Обов’язки

Existing Stack

• Own the architecture of backend services built with Java and Spring, as well as frontend applications built with React and Angular;
• Support and improve existing systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and reducing technical debt.

AI Platform

• Continue developing and improving the new AI platform;
• Lead LLM integration, RAG implementation, and the development of agentic workflows;
• Establish quality evaluation and monitoring processes for AI features.

Across All Applications

• Design and maintain multi-tenant architecture, ensuring tenant isolation of data, configuration, and workloads;
• Promote secure-by-design architecture across all applications and services;
• Ensure PHI protection through access control, encryption, audit logging, and safe handling of PHI in LLM pipelines;
• Define and maintain architecture standards, ADRs, and system diagrams;
• Facilitate cross-team communication and alignment on architectural decisions.
