Software Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer with strong .NET and React/Next.js skills to join a small team building advanced document processing and data extraction solutions for the insurance domain. You’ll work on a web application that uses large language models to parse complex documents, extract structured information, and present it through a clean, responsive interface.

What You’ll Do

• Build and improve frontend features in Next.js, using Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and TanStack, with authentication handled through Clerk
• Develop and maintain backend services in .NET, using Wolverine for messaging, Hangfire for background jobs, and Entity Framework over PostgreSQL
• Work within a modular monolith built on clean architecture and DDD principles
• Integrate real-time communication with Ably to keep users updated
• Leverage LLMs and AI tools (e.g. Claude) to improve your own development speed, code quality, and productivity
• Own tasks end to end — from requirements through deployment to feature and production environments
• Keep code tested (with automated testing), secure, and clean
• Collaborate closely with ML developers and QA in daily stand-ups and sprint planning, delivering every sprint

Must-Have Skills

• Solid backend experience with .NET (or a strong, transferable background you can quickly adapt from)
• Experience with clean architecture, DDD, and modular monolith design
• Strong frontend skills with React / Next.js
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and an ORM such as Entity Framework
• Experience with real-time communication tools such as Ably
• Comfortable in a small, fast-paced, agile team with frequent delivery
• Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to keep up with a quick workflow
• A team player who helps others — strong communication is important here
• At least 3 years of commercial experience
• Intermediate English proficiency

Nice to Have

• Experience with large language models and AI-powered data extraction
• Familiarity with Wolverine, Hangfire, Clerk, shadcn/ui, or TanStack
• Python knowledge — FastAPI and SQLAlchemy a plus
• A creative streak and comfort using design tools like Claude Design, v0, or Lovable
• Knowledge of enterprise system integrations, especially in insurance or healthcare
• Understanding of document parsing and structured data workflows Interest in automating complex business processes and improving data accuracy
