Software Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Field / Site CTO to establish and lead the company's technical operations in Poland. This is a founding leadership position combining technical architecture, enterprise client delivery, business development, and team building. You will lead complex AI implementations for enterprise customers, work directly with senior stakeholders, help win new business, and build a local engineering organization from the ground up. The role requires a combination of strong engineering expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and proven enterprise delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the technical organization in Poland.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex AI and LLM implementations for enterprise clients.
• Design and oversee scalable AI architectures and agentic systems.
• Remain hands-on with technical architecture, engineering decisions, and implementation.
• Work directly with enterprise customers, including C-level stakeholders.
• Support business development, technical pre-sales, and enterprise account acquisition.
• Build, hire, and scale the local engineering team.
• Establish engineering processes, delivery standards, and technical best practices.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive projects from initial discovery through production deployment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Previous experience as a Founder, Co-Founder, CTO, or senior technical leader in a startup/scale-up.
• Proven experience delivering complex, multi-month enterprise implementations.
• Strong technical background in backend or full-stack engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Python, AI systems, LLMs, and agentic AI.
• Experience designing and implementing production-grade AI solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to build products, teams, or business units from scratch.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers, preferably in banking, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Fluent Polish and English.
• Willingness to work from the Warsaw office four days per week.
