> full description

We build a payment-orchestration platform (a PSP hub) that connects merchants to dozens of payment providers. You'll join one of two small backend teams (5 devs each — seniors, a tech lead, and an architect) building and maintaining the integration services that move real money in production.

You'll be mentored by senior developers and backed by strong QA — a great place to see how real-world systems run at scale.

  • Format: Remote · Full-time
  • Level: Level: Junior — 1–2 years of commercial Java development experience
  • English: B1+ (our tooling, docs, and some partners are in English)

What you'll be working with (our environment — you'll grow into it)

  • Java 23, Spring Boot, Apache Camel
  • REST APIs, SQS, Redis, PostgreSQL
  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS, EKS, Terragrunt, Helm, Flux
  • Monitoring: OpenSearch, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana
  • GitLab for version control & CI/CD

What we're looking for (the essentials)

  • Solid Java fundamentals (8+) and a good grasp of OOP
  • Basic SQL / PostgreSQL
  • Genuine curiosity about backend, cloud, and DevOps — and eagerness to learn
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and ownership

Nice to have (bonuses, not requirements — we'll teach the rest)

  • Hands-on Spring Boot
  • Apache Camel or message queues (SQS, RabbitMQ, etc.)
  • Docker / Kubernetes / Helm
  • GitLab or other CI/CD
  • Any AWS experience (S3, EC2, …)
  • Keycloak 26

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain backend services and provider integrations
  • Write clean, tested code — with the team's support
  • Debug issues and improve stability
  • Learn how we run and deploy on AWS with modern tooling
  • Collaborate closely with devs, QA, and DevOps; join code reviews and team discussions

How we work / what we offer

  • Flexible remote schedule
  • Paid sick leave and vacation
  • All the equipment you need
  • Internal events: open discussions, product meetups, soft-skills training
  • Flat structure, no micromanagement, fast decisions

Hiring process

  1. Intro call (~30 min)
  2. Technical interview
  3. Short live-coding / pairing session
  4. Offer
