Software Engineer
We are looking for Senior Software Engineer who will join Windows team developing Windows version of biostatistical software.
About the project:
The team is engaged in development of biostatistical software for Windows and Mac. The software is to analyze, graph and present scientific work.
Responsibilities:
— Maintain existing and develop new features of the application
— Provide estimates for development efforts
— Draft and maintain Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and specifications
— Transform software designs, PRDs and specifications into high-quality code
— Maintain open and continuous communications with managerial, engineering, and QA personnel to clarify project challenges, identify problems, and suggest improvements
Requirements:
— 5+ years of professional software development experience
— Strong proficiency in C / C++ and deep understanding of WinAPI
— Hands-on experience with GDI / GDI+ and UI development for Windows
— Solid background with MS Visual Studio
— Practical experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor)
— English proficiency — ability to read/write technical documentation and be able to communicate with native English-speaking contacts on the customer’s side
Would be a plus:
— Background or working knowledge of C#, .NET and WPF
— Experience with Git
— Experience with Jira
