About the opportunity
We are partnering with a Swiss technology company to find a Senior Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM/KMP) & Jetpack Compose Developer.
Our partner specializes in mobile security, digital privacy, mobile forensics, and penetration testing. The team develops secure digital solutions based on modern security principles, including Zero Trust architecture, distributed encryption, and passwordless authentication.
You will join a team working on innovative applications where security and privacy are integrated into every layer of the development process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend components using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM/KMP), Compose Multiplatform (CMP), and Jetpack Compose.
- Implement application designs in close collaboration with the Creative Design Team.
- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless application integration.
- Apply security and privacy principles throughout the application development process.
- Work with an internal Kotlin-based Multiplatform Framework enhanced with security modules.
- Use the company’s internal application development and lifecycle management framework, as well as third-party technologies.
- Continuously improve application functionality and user experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with Kotlin.
- Strong experience in frontend development and responsive UI design.
- Practical experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge or experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM/KMP) and Compose Multiplatform (CMP).
- Foundational understanding of application security and privacy-by-design principles.
- Understanding of backend development concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Creativity, initiative, and willingness to explore new technical approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
!!! Important: We are looking for an engineer who can independently understand, design, implement, and explain technical solutions. AI tools may be used as assistants, but dependency on AI-generated code (vibe coding) is not acceptable.
