Software Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Node.js Full Stack Developer with strong React skills and a passion for creating interactive and insightful data visualizations. You'll become part of a dynamic team focused on building scalable applications and data-driven dashboards that empower strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.
• Build responsive and interactive frontend applications using React.

• Ensure seamless integration between frontend interfaces and backend APIs.

   

AI-Assisted Development:

• Leverage modern AI tools and technologies throughout the development lifecycle to improve productivity, accelerate problem-solving, and enhance code quality.

• Use AI-powered development tools effectively for tasks such as code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and technical research.

   

Data Visualization:

• Develop advanced data visualizations and dashboards utilizing libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, and Recharts.
• Convert complex datasets into clear, intuitive, and visually engaging formats.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers.
• Actively participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Quality & Optimization:

• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Continuously enhance code quality, testing coverage, and maintainability.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, particularly with Node.js and React.
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven track record in creating effective data visualizations.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies and practical experience using AI tools to support software development, improve productivity, and enhance development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice-to-Have:

• DevOps experience (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
