We are looking for a Senior Networking & Linux Driver Engineer

Design, develop and optimize high-performance networking software, Linux kernel components and device drivers for next-generation DPU platforms powering hyperscale cloud, AI/ML and HPC infrastructure. The engineer will work close to the Linux networking stack, packet processing data paths and hardware acceleration technologies.

Mandatory Profile

• 10+ years of professional experience in networking software development.
• Strong hands-on Linux kernel and device driver development experience.
• Deep understanding of Linux networking internals.
• Proven experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP and high-performance packet processing systems.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Track record of debugging and performance optimization in complex production environments.
• Ability to demonstrate direct implementation ownership and technical leadership.

Requirements

• Linux kernel development.
• Device driver development and debugging.
• Linux networking stack (netdev, packet processing, performance tuning).
• Advanced C/C++ on Linux.
• Network protocols: Ethernet, IPv4/IPv6, TCP, UDP.
• Git and modern software development practices.
• Strong system-level debugging skills.
• Tax residence in Ukraine required

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain networking software and Linux drivers for DPU platforms.
• Optimize high-speed packet processing paths.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware and architecture teams.
• Investigate and resolve networking performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and system integration activities.
• Contribute to software quality, automation and CI/CD processes.

Strong Advantages

• Linux upstream contribution experience (kernel, netdev, drivers or networking subsystems).
• RDMA experience (RoCE, InfiniBand, verbs, queue pairs, completion model).
• DPDK development and optimization.
• Experience with NICs, SmartNICs, DPUs or networking accelerators.
• PCIe, DMA and low-level HW/SW integration.
• Data center networking, cloud infrastructure or HPC background.
• Previous experience in companies such as NVIDIA, Mellanox, Intel, Microsoft, Broadcom or Marvell.

Not Suitable If

• Experience is primarily application-level software development.
• No Linux kernel or driver ownership.
• Limited exposure to networking internals or packet processing.
• Primarily architecture or coordination roles without recent hands-on coding.
