Requirements

• Possessing 10-15 years of progressive experience in solution architecture, demonstrating a consistent track record of designing and implementing complex enterprise-grade systems.
• This role operates entirely remotely, requiring a high degree of self-motivation, excellent virtual collaboration skills, and the ability to effectively manage client expectations, project backlog and deliverables from a distributed location.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in cloud computing platforms, with a proven ability to architect and deploy scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including infrastructure, platform, and security components, to design and implement robust cloud architectures.
• Expertise in solution architecture methodologies and frameworks, capable of leading the design and integration of complex systems across diverse technology stacks.
• Advanced understanding and practical application of security principles and best practices within enterprise architectures, ensuring data protection and compliance in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced capability in creating comprehensive and clear architectural documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and technical roadmaps for complex systems.
• Advanced skills in documentation engineering, ensuring that all architectural artifacts are precise, maintainable, and effectively communicate technical designs to various stakeholders.
• Intermediate experience in project or technical management, demonstrating the ability to coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and facilitate team collaboration effectively is a plus

Job responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and business objectives.
• Drive the definition of technical standards, patterns, and best practices for solution architecture across multiple projects and teams.
• Guide and mentor development teams on architectural principles, design patterns, and technology choices.
• Oversee the end-to-end solution delivery, ensuring technical integrity, scalability, and performance of architectural components.
• Accountable for the successful delivery of architectural blueprints and technical roadmaps for critical industrial and manufacturing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and architectural approaches to enhance system capabilities and optimize existing solutions.
• Ensure that all architectural designs adhere to stringent security standards and compliance requirements, particularly within cloud environments like Azure.
• Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes, resolving complex architectural challenges and mitigating risks.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
• Champion the adoption of cloud-native principles and scalable architectures to support future growth and innovation.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure services, to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.
