About the opportunity
We are looking for an Advanced Solution Architect to shape complex web information systems and geospatial platforms. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with architecture governance, security, integration, and release management.

What you’ll do

• Define application architecture for complex web and geospatial systems.
• Design APIs, microservices, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Guide development across Python backend and JavaScript or TypeScript frontend technologies.
• Define database architecture using PostgreSQL, PostGIS, or SQL Server.
• Establish container, CI/CD, monitoring, and release-management standards.
• Lead technical decisions concerning security, data migration, metadata, provenance, and quality assurance.
• Support architecture governance and ensure consistent implementation across teams.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of application architecture and senior software development experience.
• 3+ years of API and microservices experience.
• 4+ years of Python backend development using Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI, or comparable frameworks.
• 5+ years of JavaScript or TypeScript experience.
• 3+ years of React or Angular experience.
• 5+ years of database experience.
• 3+ years of Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes experience.
• 3+ years of Web GIS experience.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, CI/CD, security, monitoring, and release management.

Education and certifications !!!
One of the following:

• Master’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Secondary education and 17+ years of relevant experience.

Mandatory cloud certification:
AWS Professional-level certification plus at least one relevant AWS Specialty certification, or
Professional-level or higher cloud certification from another provider.
