Systems Administrator

ABOUT ROLE

We are looking for a talented System Administrator to join our team in Ternopil and support two offices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Technical Support Engineer, or Help Desk Specialist
• Administration of macOS, Windows 10/11, Linux (Ubuntu), and Windows Server
• Experience with Google Workspace (user, group, access, and security management)
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, and client-server architecture
• Hands-on experience with MikroTik (CAPsMAN) and Ubiquiti
• Understanding of NAT, Firewalls, VLANs, and VPN technologies (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPSec)
• Experience with monitoring and security tools: Zabbix, Elastic Stack, Elastic Defend, EDR/XDR solutions
• Experience with Proxmox, Docker, Nginx, Apache, IIS
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, MariaBD
• Experience with Help Desk systems and asset management
• Hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance
• Experience with video surveillance and access control systems
• Understanding of backup processes, disaster recovery, and BCP principles
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge (security experience is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  
  
  NICE TO HAVE:
• MDM solutions (ManageEngine, Intune, Jamf)
• Experience with GCP, Azure, Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, WordPress administration
• Automation tools (Zapier, n8n, REST APIs), Bash, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript
• Knowledge of SAML, SSO, MFA
• Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2 or other security frameworks.
  
  
  

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide user support and incident resolution
  • Manage accounts, access rights, software licenses, and devices
  • Experience with IT procurement, vendor management, and hardware/software purchasing
  • Setup, configure and maintain laptops, servers, and office infrastructure
  • Support networking, VPN, monitoring, and security systems
  • Maintain backups and support business continuity processes
  • Manage IT assets, inventory, and procurement
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and security issues
  • Work with vendors, suppliers, and ISPs
  • Participate in IT infrastructure and security improvement projects
  • Maintain documentation and internal procedures.
