Systems Administrator
DevCom is looking for a responsible and proactive System Administrator to support our office infrastructure. If you want to grow in system administration, work on real tasks with modern technologies, and learn alongside an experienced team, we’d love to hear from you!
Still studying? That’s fine too. We also consider 4th-year students (and beyond) of technical universities who are available for full-time work.
Location: Lviv, office
Schedule: Mon—Fri, 09:00–18:00 or 10:00–19:00 (agreed individually). You should be available in case of critical technical issues (rare, but possible)
Probation period: 3 months
What you need to join us:
▪️ Higher education in IT or related fields; final-year students are welcome
▪️ Experience administering Windows; basic Linux skills and confident use of the command line (cmd, PowerShell, bash)
▪️ Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN) and the ability to troubleshoot network issues
▪️ Experience assembling and repairing PCs, installing operating systems, and setting up peripheral devices
▪️ Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365 / Google Workspace administration, and remote access tools
▪️ Understanding of cybersecurity basics and data backup principles
▪️ Ability to find solutions on your own (yes, googling counts)
▪️ English at a level sufficient to read technical documentation
Would be a plus:
▪️ Experience with Helpdesk / Service Desk ticketing systems
▪️ Basic understanding of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Docker, and cloud services
▪️ Writing simple scripts (bat, ps1, bash)
Your responsibilities will include:
▪️ Helping colleagues resolve technical issues, analyzing problems, and finding solutions
▪️ Installing and configuring operating systems (Windows, Linux) and connecting peripheral devices
▪️ Supporting basic network services (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN)
▪️ Monitoring core cybersecurity aspects and data backup practices
▪️ Assembling, upgrading, and repairing office PCs
▪️ Managing user accounts and access in Active Directory and Office 365 / Google Workspace
About you:
▪️ Responsible, a fast learner, and comfortable with routine tasks
▪️ Patient and able to explain technical things in plain language to non-technical colleagues
▪️ Stress-resistant and able to set priorities
