We are looking for a versatile and hands-on IT System with Web Support who enjoys working across different areas of IT — from supporting employees and managing devices to maintaining servers, network access, and basic website infrastructure.

This is a part-time, hourly role with work assigned as needed. You will work on demand, depending on the company’s IT support and administration needs, rather than on a fixed daily schedule.

About us:
SDC Verifier is a Dutch company with offices in Haarlem (The Netherlands), Lviv (Ukraine), and Krakow (Poland).

Since 2009, our team has developed engineering analysis software and provides engineering consultancy services. We enable innovation by delivering a tool for structural verification according to industry rules and regulations, helping to automate routine engineering work and ensure structural safety at the lowest cost, as well as optimizing the design of various complexities, including ships, cranes, oil platforms, heavy equipment, aircraft, and parts of all types and shapes.

The SDC Verifier product has been widely used in projects across multiple industries, including Oil & Gas, Offshore & Marine, Heavy Lifting, Civil Engineering, Machinery Equipment, and Aerospace. Our team provides solutions for automation, optimization, and safety of structural analysis worldwide.

Responsibilities:

System Administration & IT Infrastructure

  • Administer and maintain Windows-based workstations and company IT infrastructure
  • Communicate with the team members and suppliers/service providers worldwide
  • Set up and configure laptops and software for new employees
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Configure and maintain VPNs and user access
  • Set up and manage remote access to company laptops
  • Maintain backups and ensure data can be restored when required
  • Manage employee internet and network access
  • Perform basic network configuration and IP address calculations
  • Manage access to internal services, including Nextcloud
  • Install, configure, and maintain business and engineering software, including ANSYS, Femap, Simcenter 3D, and SDC Verifier
  • Deploy and maintain GLPI Agent across company devices
  • Support hardware setup, replacement, and general device maintenance

Website & Server Administration

  • Provide basic technical support for the company website, including forms and submission functionality
  • Manage website-related infrastructure using Cloudflare and DigitalOcean
  • Maintain and support the development website server
  • Manage domains, DNS settings, and SSL certificates
  • Monitor and troubleshoot basic website and server-related issues
  • Coordinate with developers or external providers when more complex website or infrastructure issues require additional expertise

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in system administration, IT administration, or a similar technical role
  • Solid knowledge of Windows administration, networking, VPNs, backups, remote access, and hardware/software configuration
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage several requests at the same time
  • Experience supporting users and troubleshooting technical issues independently
  • Understanding of IP addressing, DNS, SSL certificates, and basic network configuration
  • Experience with cloud/server environments such as DigitalOcean or similar platforms
  • Basic experience with Cloudflare, domain management, and web server administration
  • Good English communication skills
