The project is a web application for a US mobile carrier. Because the product is already live, the team focuses on delivering new features and enhancing existing functionality.
About the Team
The local team consists of a Product Owner, a Team Lead, 5 Developers, and 2 QA Engineers.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Magento Developer to join our Ukrainian development team. Operating in an Agile environment, you will collaborate directly with Product Owners and cross-site engineering teams to deliver feature updates and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Magento solutions that align with the company’s wireless vision.
- Approve and collaborate on development life cycle deliverables, including wireframes, base styles, code, and QA issue resolution.
- Review developer code and project delivery to maintain quality control and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate on, contribute to, and review backend API standards with backend teams.
- Work with other technical leads on platform technical design and architecture.
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues and implement recommendations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with PHP and MySQL.
- 5+ years of experience in building solutions with Magento 1 and/or Magento 2.
- Experience working with React.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all departments, from technical staff to executive stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and managing multiple dependencies and projects.
- Intermediate+ (or higher) English level.
Will be a plus
- Magento certification.
- Experience in the internet, telecom, or cable industries.
- Experience with or integrating other Adobe products with Magento.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
