Engagement: Freelance / contract only

Workload: Depends on the project — from short one-off builds to ongoing retainers

About the role

We're a design agency with a steady flow of Webflow projects — marketing sites, redesigns, CMS rebuilds and ongoing retainers for B2B SaaS, fintech, e-commerce and service businesses across the US, Canada, UK and EU. We design in Figma; you build, launch and maintain.

This isn't template-swapping. Our clients ask for scalable CMS architecture, SEO-driven site structure, conversion-focused builds and marketing-stack integrations — and they expect you to have an opinion on all three.

What you'll do

  • Build production Webflow sites from Figma designs (typical scope: 8–20 pages + 2–4 template pages)
  • Design and implement CMS collection schemas, multi-reference fields, dynamic bindings and filtered lists
  • Build template-driven page systems that scale — one CMS template generating 50 location pages, not 50 duplicated pages
  • Implement scroll-based animations and interactions: Webflow Interactions, GSAP where needed, Lottie
  • Integrate marketing and sales tooling: HubSpot, GTM and analytics, cookie consent, newsletter, forms, call/SMS platforms
  • Own performance: Core Web Vitals, load speed, image optimisation, script hygiene
  • Implement technical SEO: clean URL and IA structure, internal linking, schema, redirects, topic-cluster architectures
  • QA across breakpoints, devices and filter/state combinations before launch
  • Run retainer work: campaign landing pages, A/B tests, conversion improvements, content and layout updates with fast turnaround

Produce hours-based estimates for incoming leads within 24–48 hours

Must-have

  • 3+ years building production Webflow sites; 3+ live links you personally built
  • Deep CMS work: collections, multi-reference fields, dynamic filtering, conditional visibility, nested collections and their limits
  • Clean, scalable class structure (Client-First or equivalent) — the sites we hand over must be maintainable by the client's marketing team
  • Solid HTML/CSS/JS: you can write custom embed code when Webflow's native features run out
  • Practical SEO and Core Web Vitals knowledge — you can explain what you'd change and why
  • Responsive and mobile QA discipline
  • Integrations experience: at least one CRM (HubSpot preferred) plus analytics and tracking setup
  • AI-assisted workflow. You work with Claude Code (or an equivalent agentic coding tool) as part of your daily process — generating custom code and embeds, debugging, refactoring, writing integration scripts. You can quickly assemble clickable prototypes with AI tools to validate an idea or an interaction before building it properly in Webflow. You know where AI output is reliable and where it needs to be rewritten by hand.
  • English B2 or higher — you'll join client calls and answer technical questions in writing
  • Ability to produce an hours-based estimate from a Figma file or a brief

Nice to have

  • Framer, Wix or WordPress as a second platform
  • Shopify (Liquid, OS 2.0) — we get regular requests
  • Webflow → headless migration experience (Sanity, Storyblok, Contentful, Vercel)
  • Memberstack, Outseta, Circle, Mighty Networks or similar membership layers
  • GSAP, Three.js or WebGL for high-motion builds
  • A/B testing tooling and CRO experience
  • Multi-language builds

Soft requirements

  • Proactive: you flag risks and propose alternatives instead of silently building the wrong thing
  • Comfortable saying "this won't work in Webflow, here's what I'd do instead"
  • Fast, structured written communication in Slack
  • Reliable turnaround on small retainer tasks

Application

Send 3 live Webflow builds with your exact role on each, a short note on how you'd structure a 50-location CMS system, an example of something you built or prototyped with AI assistance, your hourly rate and typical availability.
