Automation QA Engineer
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer for a short-term project to join a team developing scientific software for data analysis, visualization, and research workflows.
The main focus of the role is test automation. We are looking for a strong QA engineer with solid hands-on experience in Cypress, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
— Write and maintain automated tests using Cypress, TypeScript and JavaScript
— Test new and existing product features
— Investigate bugs, reproduce issues and verify fixes
Requirements:
— 4+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing
— Strong hands-on experience with test automation
— Strong experience with Cypress
— Good knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
— Experience with Git, GitHub and Jira
— Good understanding of functional, regression and integration testing
— English sufficient for technical communication with the customer
Would be a plus:
— Playwright
— Cucumber / Gherkin
— API testing
— Manual exploratory testing
— Experience writing and maintaining test cases
