Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Automation QA Engineer to join the team working on one of the world’s largest navigation applications, with around 120 million active users.

The product ecosystem includes a large-scale mobile application as well as complex web solutions and services for enterprises and communities.

You will work on the test automation framework for the Core product, collaborate with other SDETs, and contribute to the automation expertise within the QA team.

The QA organization is structured across several squads and includes Manual and Automation QA specialists, Quality Leads, as well as cross-functional roles connecting manual and automation testing.

Important: We consider candidates who are already residing in Poland or another EU country and are able to work under a B2B contract in Poland. This is an office-based role in Warsaw, so candidates currently based elsewhere in the EU should be ready to relocate to Warsaw.

Responsibilities

• Working on a framework for test automation of the Core product with 120M active users;
• Collaborating with other SDETs;
• Mentoring QA Engineers involved in automation;
• Performing code reviews for QA Engineers contributing to automation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing
• 3+ years of experience in mobile automation for both iOS and Android using Appium
• 3+ years of experience in Java for automation testing
• Experience with Git or another standard version control system
• Experience with tests reporting libraries
• Experience working in Agile environment
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of both spoken and written English
• Ability to work from our Warsaw office

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI flows and tools such as Jenkins or other standard CI platforms;
• Experience working with remote test labs for mobile devices;
• Experience with Docker or other virtualization platforms;
• Experience with Unix / Linux / macOS.
  
  

Working conditions

• Office-based role in Warsaw;
• Flexible working hours: you can start your working day anytime between 8:00 and 10:00 AM Warsaw time;
• Cooperation under a B2B contract;
• A standard 3-month onboarding period. The agreed compensation applies in full from your first day and does not change during onboarding.
