Backend Engineer

Job Summary
As a Software Engineer, you will review AI-generated code and compare it with how you would write the solution yourself. Your role will focus on reviewing AI-generated solutions, finding mistakes, and uncovering reasoning gaps.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated code, technical solutions, and engineering approaches.
• Identify bugs, incorrect assumptions, architectural issues, and weak reasoning in AI responses.
• Test and evaluate agentic coding models designed to perform complex engineering tasks at a senior developer level.
• Compare AI-generated solutions against senior engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 3-4 years of commercial experience developing backend (Python or otherwise).
• At least 2-3 years of commercial exp with Python (Ideally 3-4 years)
• Use AI tools (AI agents, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar) in daily workflow.
• Experience working with existing codebases and unfamiliar repositories.
• Good understanding of REST API and backend architecture.
• Strong SQLAlchemy / PostgreSQL skills (complex queries, ORM patterns, performance).
• Experience writing unit tests using Pytest or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Ability to independently analyze code and identify bugs or inconsistencies.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2).

Bonus points:

• Computer Science or related education.
• Knowledge of .NET.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
