We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team and work on a FinTech solution focused on fraud prevention in financial transactions.

You will be involved in building the solution from scratch, working with high-load systems, large volumes of data, microservices, and machine learning-related functionality.

Previous experience in Banking / FinTech is a must-have.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build new functionality and services from scratch.
Design and implement microservice-based architecture.
Develop and integrate services using Apache Kafka.
Work with high-load systems and large volumes of data.
Contribute to fraud detection and prevention functionality.
Participate in technical and architectural decisions.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
Banking / FinTech experience is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Java, OOP, and design patterns.
Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
Practical experience with Apache Kafka.
Experience developing high-load systems.
Experience working with Big Data / large datasets.
Understanding of machine learning concepts, particularly regression and anomaly detection, is required.
Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
Strong understanding of software development best practices and code quality.
Experience with cloud technologies.
Ability to write clear technical documentation.
Good English communication skills.
