We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team and work on a FinTech solution focused on fraud prevention in financial transactions.
You will be involved in building the solution from scratch, working with high-load systems, large volumes of data, microservices, and machine learning-related functionality.
Previous experience in Banking / FinTech is a must-have.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build new functionality and services from scratch.
- Design and implement microservice-based architecture.
- Develop and integrate services using Apache Kafka.
- Work with high-load systems and large volumes of data.
- Contribute to fraud detection and prevention functionality.
- Participate in technical and architectural decisions.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
- Banking / FinTech experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Java, OOP, and design patterns.
- Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Practical experience with Apache Kafka.
- Experience developing high-load systems.
- Experience working with Big Data / large datasets.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, particularly regression and anomaly detection, is required.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and code quality.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation.
- Good English communication skills.
