Backend Engineer

Golang Developer (Senior) — Remote, Poland/EU

Location: Poland/EU (candidates based in Ukraine also considered if EU/Poland-based and fluent in English) Level: Senior Format: Remote / contract

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Go
• Strong understanding of concurrency (goroutines, channels, sync package)
• Experience building and maintaining REST/gRPC APIs
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and query optimization
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) is a plus
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• English — B2 or higher (required)
• Polish — a plus, not required

We’re looking for:

• A solid Senior developer, comfortable working independently
• Someone resourceful and self-sufficient — able to figure things out without heavy hand-holding
• Must be based in Poland or elsewhere in the EU (Ukraine-based candidates are welcome if they meet the location and English requirements)
