Backend Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Middle Python Developer to join our core team. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing our high-load Trading Bot, ensuring seamless integration with cryptocurrency exchanges and supporting the continuous growth of our fintech operations.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain: Write clean, high-quality, and scalable Python code for fintech and crypto trading systems.
• Architecture: Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions for the trading bot’s evolution.
• Quality Assurance: Perform thorough code reviews and maintain high test coverage using Pytest.
• Optimization: Fine-tune applications for maximum performance, reliability, and low-latency execution.
• Ownership: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and take full responsibility for the features you build.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new trading strategies and features.

🔑 Required Skills:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python 3 (including advanced features and Pytest).
• Strong Web Framework Skills: Practical experience with FastAPI.
• Testing Excellence: Solid experience with unit testing to ensure code reliability and high quality.
• API Integration: Proven ability to integrate various APIs and external services (REST, WebSockets, etc.), which is crucial for our trading operations.
• Solid Foundations: Deep understanding of OOP and class design, microservices design.
• Database Management: Deep knowledge and Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM like SQLAlchemy.
• System Knowledge: Comfortable working with Linuxbased environments.
• Tools: Proficiency in Git and experience with Jira for task management.
• English: At least Intermediate level (for technical documentation and communication).
• Mindset: Critical thinking and a strong sense of feature ownership.

🚀 Nice to Have:

• Experience or understanding of Forex/Crypto trading, Cryptocurrency market mechanics and exchange APIs, Order management and execution logic;
• Knowledge of tools for Data Processing & Analytics: NumPy, Pandas, etc.
