Our client is an international cybersecurity product company that helps organizations protect data and manage user identities. The key focus is data & identity security: data protection starts with controlling access and user identities

We are looking for a Tech Lead BackEnd Engineer to join our growing team in Lviv or remotely.

You will be part of a cross-functional team working on cutting-edge solutions for international clients, using modern technologies and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain web applications from scratch.
• Collaborate closely with designers, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality products.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
  Contribute to architectural decisions and propose improvements.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend architecture with a strong emphasis on Node.js, TypeScript, and .Net
• Deep understanding of architecture patterns, including microarchitecture, API gateways, and service-oriented design.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks: Jest (unit testing), Playwright (end-to-end testing).
• Strong infrastructure knowledge: Docker, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Clickhouse, AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies: blue-green, canary releases.
• Excellent understanding of distributed tracing, observability, and performance monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to mentor and lead development teams.
• Fluent in spoken Ukrainian and English.
